What is the Olney Town Center Advisory Committee

The Olney Town Center Advisory Committee, OTCAC is a twelve member committee whose members are nominated by civic organizations, homeowners associations, County government boards, or businesses in Olney.

The committee is chartered by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC) following adoption of the 2005 Olney Master Plan.

The OTCAC charter includes:

• Creating an illustrative concept and design guidelines for developers

• Creating a Concept for a Civic Center/Town Commons

• Providing public input to the Planning Board on redevelopment proposals for parcels within the town center
